Hanoi Cat Ba island bus operates in Hanoi – Cat Ba route with more than three trips per day. The guide (and bus) will pick you up at your hotel in Old Quarter then departure to Cat Ba islands. From Cat Ba Island, the car will pick up guests at your hotel address (in Cat Ba town), so it is very convenient for guests with children, elderly or carries much luggage.
Hanoi to Cat Ba island route
- Hanoi to Cat Ba island by bus free picking up at your hotel located in Hanoi Old Quarter. If yours is not, please be at the meeting point in Old Quarter.
- Bus departure from Hanoi to Got Station, following high way 5B ~ 2 hours.
- Get on a Ferry from Got to Cai Vieng Cát Bà~ 20 minutes.
- Transfer to Cat Ba Town by bus ~ 40 minutes. Drop off at your hotel (if yours is in Cat Ba Town or on the way).
About the picking up and drop off in the Hotel around Old quarter, if your hotel at the small street/lane that the bus unable to reach or the street is banned for the bus (especially in the weekend), our guide will come to pick you up then we will need to walk to the bus, sometime we have small bus (in the way back, the bus will also drop you off at the nearest point to your hotel).
