The Sapa Glass Bridge began construction in 2017 and was completed by the end of 2019. It is the second glass bridge in Vietnam after the Love Bridge in Son La and stands out as the tallest glass bridge in Vietnam. The bridge is located at an elevation of 2,200 meters above sea level and 548 meters above the Hoang Lien Son mountain range.

The bridge’s glass floor is made up of three layers of glass, each 1.2 cm thick. To enhance safety and durability, these layers are bonded together using four layers of bulletproof film. There are two ways to get to the Sapa Glass Bridge: by car or taxi, and by elevator or on foot.

By car or taxi

You can reach the Sapa Glass Bridge by car or taxi from Sapa town, as it is only about 17 km away. The best option is to book a tour with a private car and a tour guide to help you get there. Or else you can get a taxi to get there (tell the driver to wait or else it hard for you to call a taxi to get back to Sapa town center), the cost for a taxi to get to the Sapa Glass Bridge and come back to Sapa town center may up to 500,000 VND (~ 20 USD).

By elevator or on foot

You have the option to choose how you want to ascend the Sapa Glass Bridge, either by elevator or on foot, providing diverse experiences suitable for different preferences and physical conditions.

Elevator:
