Located on the top floor of La Siesta Premium Hang Be Hotel, Lighthouse Sky Bar is likened to a garden in the sky, offering a unique and refreshing rooftop space not found in any other place in Hanoi.

With an extremely distinctive design, the first of its kind in Vietnam, it is modeled after the shape of a ‘moored ship’ on three rooftop levels. The Lighthouse Sky Bar is one of the highest bars in the Old Quarter, providing panoramic views of Hoan Kiem Lake, the Red River, Long Bien Bridge, and the Old Quarter.

But it’s not just the view that impresses; the bar also offers a delightful dining experience. You can savor a selection of light and exquisite Asian-European dishes, paired with a variety of tempting beverages. Located at the address of 94 Ma May Street, Moonlight Sky Bar is the latest masterpiece in EHG’s upscale sky bar chain, one of the beautiful rooftop bars in Hanoi with a unique design.

Sky bars in the Old Quarter often share common features such as panoramic views, modern and luxurious design, delicious food and drinks, and beautiful presentation. If Lighthouse Sky Bar has a boat-shaped design with a direct view of Hoan Kiem Lake’s lighthouse, then Moonlight Sky Bar stands out with its impressive panoramic view of Hanoi. What’s more, the owner has also incorporated a miniature Long Bien Bridge into their design.

Moonlight Sky Bar is quite busy during sunset, so my tips is to plan ahead to avoid waiting for table.

Terraço Sky Bar

Overlooking Hoan Kiem Lake, the bar impresses with its elegant decor and a highlight of a crown-shaped design on the right side of the bar counter.

The menu offers 9 unique cocktails inspired by Hanoi’s old quarter. My favorite drink when visiting the Terraço Sky Bar is the Lãn Ông cocktail, named after a street with many traditional medicine shops in the northern region. It combines blended liquor with various herbs, including Oolong tea, goji berries, and longan fruit, to create a bitter taste.

And don’t forget to try other cocktails inspired by the old quarter to experience the creative drinks based on the stories of Hanoi’s ancient streets!

This bar is minimally decorated, removing intricate details, and keeping the main part luxurious with pure white tones and transparent glass. Unique from every angle, you will always find a beautiful backdrop for the most charming, youthful, and unique photos.

In a place so high, you should pay attention to temperature; if necessary, bring a coat. Regarding beverages, try ordering the Faint Smoky cocktail; the strong taste of whiskey combined with the sweet honey and the spicy flavor of cinnamon will warm you up.
